TV BRICS partner in China launches language versions in Vietnamese, Urdu, and Hindi

The new language versions of the People’s Daily Online portal will expand the project’s international audience

The People’s Daily Online website has launched versions in three new languages – Vietnamese, Urdu, and Hindi. This was reported by
People’s Daily Online, a partner of TV BRICS.

According to the publication, this launch is aimed at strengthening the media platform’s position in the field of international communication. The new language versions will feature content about China, helping to attract a wider overseas readership.

With the addition of these versions, the website is now available in 18 languages, including English, French, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, German, Portuguese, Swahili, Italian, Thai, and others.

The cooperation between the TV BRICS International Media Network and People’s Daily Online covers several areas – from culinary TV shows to joint information projects.

One of the flagship examples is the series “Russian stars cooking Chinese cuisine”, launched in partnership with People’s Daily Online. Across five seasons, the programme has introduced viewers to traditional Chinese recipes that are easy to recreate at home. For Brazilian audiences, the show has been adapted into Portuguese and is broadcast via Metrópoles, the largest news platform in Latin America.

Another area of cooperation is the series “China Through Our Eyes”, created by TV BRICS and People’s Daily Online. This collection of interviews highlights the achievements of Russia–China bilateral cooperation in the fields of industry, diplomacy, culture, and language. The programme offers viewers a chance to see the partnership between the two countries through personal stories, expert insights, and tangible results.
