UAE opens new power station to improve energy supply in city of Kalba
The facility has a 60 MVA capacity
The Kalba Power Transmission Station has begun to run, according to a statement from the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority. This is reported by
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
This project is a component of the Kalba Administration’s continuous efforts to enhance the transmission and distribution networks across the board in order to give Sharjah residents the best services available.
The source claims that commissioning and all tests have been successfully finished. High safety requirements were followed in the construction, network connection, and operation of the station.
Three transformers, each with a 20 MVA capacity, are part of the station, which has in total a 60 MVA capacity.
