Vietnam aims for a radical transformation of its public services, with a target to deliver at least 90 per cent of eligible administrative procedures online by 2030. This goal is outlined in the country’s recently unveiled national data strategy, according to
Vietnam News Agency (VNA), a partner of TV BRICS.
The strategy is designed to create and expand a comprehensive national database. This database will be used to improve coordination across government departments, facilitate deeper analysis, and foster innovation within the public sector.
A key aspect of the plan also includes strengthening international collaboration on data-related matters.
According to the VNA, plans are in place for additional infrastructure development, with a second and third data centre slated for launch by 2030, forming part of the strategy’s long-term objectives.
