Participants included tourism department heads, representatives from international organizations and tourism enterprises, as well as tourism experts from SCO member states and other nations.

“It seems to me the that every proposal which was announced here has a deep meaning for the future development of tourism. We can do much more than we are doing now,” said Yerzhan Ernibaev, deputy minister of tourism and sports of Kazakhstan.

SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming emphasized that the forum aimed to address tourism development matters within the SCO and actively explore opportunities for collaboration in this regard.

It was also highlighted the extensive tourism potential within the SCO’s territories and the need to establish favorable conditions for the growth of the tourism industry among member countries. This is reported by
