The Science and Technology Innovation Conference-2023 has opened in Shanghai. The main theme of the event is “Building on our strengths and capabilities, driving development through innovation”.

More than 200 industry experts and scholars, executives from Chinese and foreign companies and representatives of universities are participating in the major event. The event programme includes discussions on deeper integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial development.

The conference was organised by the China Media Corporation (CGTN), a partner of TV BRICS and the Shanghai authorities. As part of the conference, they jointly initiated the establishment of S&T innovation alliances among Chinese universities and industrial parks, as reported by CGTN.
