Doctors who use AI become more in demand in India

This was stated by an expert at the ANI Dialogues 2024 – Navigating the Indian Healthcare Sector conference

Harsh Mahajan, Radiologist, at the conference “ANI Dialogues 2024-Navigating India’s Health Sector”, that AI-enabled specialists can replace those who are reluctant to adopt the technology in their work. In his presentation, Dr Harsh said that artificial intelligence can be used in any sector as an aide to increase productivity.

“AI and technology is going to be transformative. The only way we can provide quality health care to the masses of the country will be through technology,” he said.

He also emphasised on the need to adapt to and embrace new technologies. This is reported by
ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.

Responding to a question on the possibility of misdiagnoses, Dr Mahajan said that we cannot depend entirely on artificial intelligence and must use our own intelligence.

He also said that technology, artificial intelligence and telemedicine will play an important role in achieving quality healthcare.
