Iran’s popular resort Qeshm attracts more than half million visitors in March

Qeshm Island was reached by land, air and sea routes

Between March 15 and April 1, an astounding total of 750,193 tourists traveled to Qeshm Island via land, air, and sea routes.

This significant influx of visitors highlights the growing popularity of Qeshm as a premier destination for travelers seeking cultural experiences amidst stunning natural landscapes.

Recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark, Qeshm’s formation history has shaped its distinct appearance. This is reported by
Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.

Qeshm is the largest island in the Persian Gulf, with rocky coastlines that hide a beautiful landscape. It is located a few kilometres off the southern coast of Iran, opposite the port cities of Bandar Abbas and Bandar Hamir.

The coast of the island is dotted with small villages and towns, the largest of which is the port city of Qeshm. The territory of the island is a free economic zone with duty-free trade.
