Number of properties sold in Brazil’s Sao Paulo rises 42.1% in February
In February, 6,600 new residential units were sold in Sao Paulo, up 17,8 per cent from January and 42,1 per cent more than a year earlier. In the last 12 months, 79,300 housing units were sold.
The total value of sales reached R$3,22 (US$634,5 million) billion in February and R$45,3 billion (US$8,9 billion) in the 12 months. The ratio of sales relative to supply was 10 per cent in February and 55,8 per cent for the year.
There were 4,467 housing units completed in the month and 77,000 units over the year. There are 59,700 properties available for sale on the market with a total value of R$41.8 billion (US$8.2 billion). This is reported by
