Industrial output totalled US$6.8 billion, while its physical volume grew by 8.8 per cent. The strongest production increases were recorded in transport vehicles, at 46.8 per cent, followed by wood and paper products and printing at 44.7 per cent.
Output of construction materials rose by 33.4 per cent, while pharmaceutical production increased by 15.1 per cent. Food, beverage and other production grew by 8.4 per cent, mineral extraction by 8.9 per cent and base metals by 3.1 per cent.
Other sectors also recorded positive results. Construction expanded 1.6-fold, agricultural output increased by 6.4 per cent, and wholesale and retail trade grew by 4.4 per cent.
