National Bank of Brazil is exploring the possibility of holographic customer service

With the rapid development of digital technology, Brazil’s oldest bank is keeping pace with the times by trying to follow cutting-edge digital trends

State-owned Brazilian bank “Banco do Brasil” (BB) is evaluating the use of holographic technology for customer service through a system called Holograma BB, as reported by The Rio Times. However, the practical deployment of an extensive branch network is not yet in question.

The idea of holographic service continues to gain popularity as financial technology platforms evolve, especially among younger, tech-savvy customers.

Banco do Brasil, the country’s oldest state-owned bank and one of the largest, seeks feedback from bank representatives before finalising the rollout of the technology, recognising the changes in the banking sector as a result of digitalisation and efficiency measures.

CEO Tarciana Medeiros confirmed in an interview that there is an ongoing dialogue with banking unions about this integration.
