“Russian Language Ambassadors in the World” travel to Vietnam
The programme helps to promote the Russian language, Russian education and science both in Russia and abroad
The international volunteer programme “Russian Language Ambassadors in the World” is a new format of humanitarian volunteering, development of international youth cooperation in the interests of promoting the Russian language, Russian education and science in our country and abroad. This project has been implemented since 2015 by the Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The media partners of the expedition are the TV BRICS International Media Network and the Eurasia Today, a partner of the media network.
The programme also promotes the development of Russia’s relations with other countries and the involvement of young people in volunteer activities.
Volunteers annually visit different points of the globe with educational expeditions and share their love for the Russian language with schoolchildren and students from near and far abroad – Abkhazia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Cuba, Moldova, Peru, Portugal, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Ecuador.
On 23 October started the expedition of “Russian Language Ambassadors in the World” to Vietnam, which will last until 2 December. Its participants are:
experienced ambassadors of the Russian language in the world, volunteers Polina Dorozhkina and Anna Listova;
Varvara Filippova, organiser and methodologist, acting head of the Department of Internship of Foreign Specialists at the Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language.
During the expedition, volunteers with organisational and informational support from the Hanoi branch of the Pushkin Institute of Russian Language will give lessons at Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School (Vinh), Tran Dang Ninh School (Nam Dinh), Bien Hoa Special School and Thai Nguyen Special School (both in Ha Nam Province).
