Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority has released details of Eid al-Fitr events including fireworks, music concerts, theatre performances and more in different regions of the kingdom.

Fireworks will light up the sky at 9pm daily starting from the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

There will be a series of theatrical performances featuring Arab actors, including “The Red Box” in Jeddah on April 13, “The Neighbour” in Riyadh on April 14 and “Ors Aljen” in Dammam on the same day.

In addition, there will be eight musical concerts in different cities.

Jeddah’s waterfront will host the Destination Eid event for 10 days, which will include folklore shows, music concerts, entertainment performances and interactive activities. This is reported by
Arab News.

The theme of this year’s events is “Your Eid among your family and loved ones”, which aims to promote fellowship and happiness among Saudi residents and visitors of all ages and tastes.

Eid al-Fitr is celebrated the first three days of the month of Shawwal in honour of the end of fasting of the holy month of Ramadan.
