The Chinese Foreign Ministry spoke about the results of the country’s co-operation with Arab states
The “One Belt, One Road” initiative promotes the expansion of areas of co-operation
According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, China imported 270 million tonnes of crude oil from Arab countries, accounting for half of the total imports of black gold this year. This is reported by

“In 2022, trade between China and Arab countries exceeded $430 billion. This figure is twice as high as ten years ago,” he emphasised.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman also stated that the two sides have realised more than 200 large-scale projects.
Proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013, the “One Belt, One Road” initiative promotes the expansion of economic, financial, cultural, scientific, educational cooperation between the countries of Asia, Africa and Europe.
Currently, about 150 countries have signed co-operation agreements with China under the initiative.
