Russian woman’s scientific work Persian Language and Literature in Dagestan wins the Book of the Year award in Iran

It became the best in the nomination “World Book of the Year”

The closing ceremony of the 41st Book of the Year Award was held at the Unity Hall in Tehran. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi delivered a speech at the event.

The book “Persian Language and Literature in Dagestan” by Patimat Alibekova, candidate of philological sciences, leading researcher of the Gamzat Tsadasa Institute of Language, Literature and Art of the DNC RAS (IYALI DNC RAS), became the best in the nomination “World Book of the Year”.

Alibekova’s work was published in 2022 with the support of the Ibn Sina Foundation and in co-operation with IYALI DNC RAS.

Note that the book “Persian Language and Literature in Dagestan” was also included in the top list of the International Fair of Intellectual Literature non/fictio №24. This is reported by
