UAE’s largest city launches Dubai Demand Side Management Recognition Programme

The programme reflects the city’s significant achievements and highlights the Council’s strategy to reduce energy and water consumption

Dubai’s Supreme Energy Council has unveiled the Demand Side Management Recognition Programme, a initiative that highlights achievements in energy and water efficiency, circular economy practices, innovation and environmental sustainability. This is reported by

The programme aims to recognise successful green building projects, efficient cooling practices and other innovations aimed at reducing energy consumption in Dubai.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council for Energy, stressed that the programme aims to increase responsible use of energy, water and fuel, as well as encourage sustainable practices and the development of a circular economy in line with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Ahmed Buti Al Muhairbi, Secretary General of the Dubai Supreme Council for Energy, said the programme reflects the city’s significant achievements and highlights the council’s strategy to reduce energy and water consumption by 30 per cent by 2030, contributing to Dubai’s sustainable development.
