An introductory workshop for the Joint Portfolio Committees on Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Post and Courier Services, and Media and Broadcasting was held in Masvingo.

At the policy level, the Zimbabwe Media Commission Amendment Bill and the Broadcasting Services Amendment Bill are going through internal legal processes. In order to enhance the functioning of the media industry, the ministry is also developing a media policy.
