Zimbabwe’s president is set to partner with the UAE to develop technological innovations in the security sector

The 11th summit was held under the theme “Shaping Future Governments” with a focus on strengthening global co-operation.

President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa has been briefed on the technology used to monitor centralised security systems in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) police force. This is reported by
ZBC News, a partner of TV BRICS.

“I have been intrigued by absolutely everything I have seen, we need serious cooperation between Zimbabwe and Dubai, this is the way to go in terms of the police, technology in action,” he said.

Mnangagwa also said strong ties with the UAE would allow Zimbabwe to adopt their expertise.

The Zimbabwean leader also met with UAE Minister of State Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan.

They discussed co-operation in the agricultural sector.
