South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated South Africans on the upcoming holidays.
The Head of State said that this is a time of hope for the future. This is reported by the
official website of the South African government.
“We look to the next year with hope. May we continue to draw from the deepest wells of resilience, humanity and compassion that make us who we are. Wherever you are this festive season, I wish you well,” Ramaphosa said.
In his last weekly bulletin of the year, the president said South Africa had experienced challenges in 2023.
He said that despite “still difficult times”, a lot of progress had been made.
