In turn, the Russian leader noted the success of cooperation between Moscow and Brasilia in the field of trade. According to him, the South American country accounts for a significant part of Russia’s trade turnover with the states of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Putin added that Russia is the largest exporter of oil products and mineral fertilisers to the Brazilian market, while Brazil remains the leader in Russian food imports.

“Today, I would like to note that our relations are developing progressively, contacts are constantly maintained at a high level. You always find an opportunity to personally receive Russian representatives when they come to Brazil on working visits”
