Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation to discuss the further development of relations between the two countries. This is reported by
ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.
The leaders discussed the practical implementation of trade and economic agreements reached during Modi’s visit to Russia in July.
They also expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation within the BRICS group and reiterated India’s willingness to participate in the BRICS summit to be held in Kazan in October 2024 under the Russian presidency.
Modi emphasised the importance of further strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Russia.
During the conversation, the leaders also exchanged views on a number of topical regional and global issues.
